The Dress Shop Dresses

My latest Disney obsession are The Dress Shop dresses! These dresses are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for any Disney fangirl! There are many different styles to choose from and each dress is covered in charming little details. All dresses are about knee-length but with different straps and bodices. Oh, and many of them have pockets! My favourite is the practically perfect Mary Poppins dress!

Some of the styles are:

Fantasyland Castle: This pure white dress is very classy and includes the ivory cardigan with the set. Embroidered on the back of the dress are the words “Where Magic Lives.”

Enchanted Tiki Room: Inspired by the classic Adventureland attraction, this shoulder strapped green dress has a tropical flare with its fun print of José, Michael, Fritz, and Pierre. And it is complete with an attached bright pink flower brooch.

Snow White Apples: This white dress is covered with not only bright red apples, but hidden dwarfs as well! The shoulder straps and waistband are a complimentary dark blue. This dress was released to celebrate the recent 80th anniversary of Walt Disney’s first animated classic!

Monsters, Inc.: This super colourful, shoulder strapped dress is a fan-favourite! The dress is completely covered in brightly coloured doors with Mike, Sulley, and their friends peeking through.

Alice in Wonderland: This pale blue dress is covered in whimsical teapots and teacups. The waistband is a contrasting pink which is very pretty. Perfect for an unbirthday party!

Mary Poppins: Based on the Mary Poppins Jolly Holiday outfit, this dress features many small and delightful details! This dress is white with a red trim and tied bow in the back, with a hem that pictures parasols, penguins, carousel horses, and more!

Tower of Terror: This dress looks like a much more fashionable bellhop uniform and is super cute! It is a dark red with gold strips along the bottom hem. The top has a black halter strap.

Fantasyland: This light pink dress is adorable with its lavender trim and off the shoulder sleeves. There are tiny bows scattered along the skirt and the hem design features favourite attractions such as It’s a Small World, Mad Tea Party, and the carousel. There is also a castle which looks like a cross between Cinderella Castle and Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Main Street, U.S.A (comes with matching cardigan): This white dress is covered in little images that represent Main Street, U.S.A., including train stations, fire stations, street cars, horse-drawn carriages, and of course, balloons! This dress has a coral-coloured trim and matches the cardigan that is included in the price. The cardigan has two horses embroidered on it.

Orange Bird: This dress is completely covered in an Orange Bird print with beautiful navy blue shoulder straps and waistband.

Variety of Minnie Mouse Dresses: The Disney fashionista herself, Minnie Mouse has inspired many different styles of dresses, most of which Rock the Dots!

Mickey Mouse: This black and white Mickey Mouse dress is very classy! I love the off the shoulder look to it!

Haunted Mansion Ballroom: This dress is absolutely gorgeous with its gathered lilac tulle bodice and contrasting black skirt. The hem along the bottom of the skirt features scenes from the Haunted Mansion ballroom.

It’s a Small World: This dress is navy blue with shoulder straps. The pattern design is very colourful as it is covered flowers inspired by the classic Fantasyland attraction. Some of the flowers even have farewells in different languages, just like the end of the ride!

Tightrope Girl (comes with matching cape): Another two-piece set, this dress and cape is inspired by the Tightrope Girl from the portraits in the stretching room of the Haunted Mansion. The velvet bodice and cape are burgundy with a floral design. The skirt is white and covered in parasols and floral patterns.

Mary Blair: This dress has a bright red bodice and a yellow skirt. The skirt is covered in umbrellas that are historic of the bold Mary Blair artistic style. Mary Blair’s signature is included in the pattern.

Magic Kingdom: This dress is a beautiful light blue with a dark blue waistband and halter strap. The front buttons are decked out with castles and the bottom hem pattern is the best part! It features a skyline of classic Magic Kingdom attractions including: Cinderella Castle, It’s a Small World, Space Mountain, and many more!

Disneyland: This dress is next on my wish list!  It looks very similar to the Magic Kingdom dress but features Disneyland exclusives such as Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Matterhorn Bobsleds.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant: This sky blue dress is covered in clouds and flying Dumbos with the words “Don’t just fly, soar” embroidered across the top.

Dole Whip Dress: This brightly coloured dress is just too much fun! It is completely covered in Dole Whips with a yellow sash around the waist. I can’t decide if I like the dress or the matching purse better! (I think the purse!)

Cherries and Oranges: Not very Disney but very Florida! These fruity dresses are perfect for gorgeous summer weather!

Beauty and the Beast: One dress is inspired by Belle’s peasant dress and the other is inspired by Mrs. Potts and Chip!

Sally: This Sally dress is very similar to the one the character wears in The Nightmare Before Christmas, just a little bit more dapper.

Disney Villains: Almost every Disney villain is featured along the bottom hem of this dress! I love the deep purple argyle.

Disney Dogs: This Disney Dogs pattern is way to cute! I love that characters like Stitch and the Footstool are included!

  1. I really love the Tiki Room dress and Monsters inc door dress. I am also a fan of the tea cup skirts. Subtle Disney charm!! Can’t wait to buy one for myself! (Wear it to auditions…maybe they will like the reference and hire me!)

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if Disneyland Paris got a Dress Shop sometime due to the popularity! Maybe even a Disneyland Paris inspired dress with that gorgeous castle!

  2. I absolutely love these dresses. I resisted them when we went to Florida but I did buy the orange bird plastic bead necklace which goes perfectly with a vintage dress I already own.
