A Look at Tokyo Disney Resort Merchandise

Share this:

Tokyo Disney Resort is well-known for their unique merchandise. Everything is very kawaii—all cute, whimsical, and colourful, with incredible details. However, for guests who are fans of souvenirs with subtle Disney touches, you may have a difficult time finding something to take home from Tokyo.

It’s not just the look and design of the merchandise that is different in Tokyo compared to other Disney parks, it’s also what exactly they sell. There are a lot of household items, including feather dusters (like the Sorcerer’s Apprentice one I bought), various kitchen utensils, lint rollers, toilet brushes, tissue box covers, and on and on.

Something else unique about their merchandise is their next level accessories. Almost everything guests can buy also offers some sort of accessory, and those accessories usually have accessories as well. Popcorn buckets are very popular and guests can purchase keychains of their popcorn bucket to attach to their popcorn bucket.

Can you spot Dumbo, Timothy, and Mickey in the popcorn chain?

Buying treats to take home for family and friends is a huge part of Japanese culture and the merch at Tokyo Disney Resort gives guests many options to do so. Treat tins are very popular and stores have a display of what can be found in each tin. Another common gift is stationary. Tokyo Disney has a huge variety of stationary and each package comes with multiple items so guests can share.

Two of my favourite items are the passholders and the soft headbands. The passholders are little coin purses with a slot in the back to keep tickets and FastPasses safe. They have a long strap like a lanyard to wear around the neck. Passholders come in dozens of different characters and I think they’re all adorable! The soft headbands also come in many different characters and each are very detailed. I got the White Rabbit one from Alice in Wonderland.

One thing to note is Disney pins are not very popular in Tokyo Disney. I only purchased two and they were pretty hard to find.

Chandu the tiger is the cutest Disney parks character!

Anyway, here is a look at some of the merchandise found at the Tokyo Disney Resort. And I do mean some, this is really only a small fraction of what can be found there.

Tokyo Disney celebrates every anniversary. We were there for the 18th Anniversary of DisneySea and there was tons of merchandise for even a minor anniversary.
Not a picture of merch but just a super cute shop!
