Have you wondered which Disney animated movies are officially part of the Walt Disney Animation Studios canon? It is not simply a matter of theatrical releases verses direct to home video but instead which Disney Studio made them. That’s right, there are multiply divisions of The Walt Disney Company who make and produce films. Films that are made by Pixar Studios or DisneyToon Studios are not part of this canon, but here is a list of which films are included and their earliest premiere or release date.
